Solo traveler convenience
The hostess Carina she is really something you know like super helpful always there when I needed her. The kitchen was a big plus I was able to make my own meals and avoid junk from typical motels and the room was spacious with amazing wood floors.
It wasn't exactly affordable but for the experience it was still decent.

Highland Park was a cozy Victorian house. Carina, the owner, was exceptional - kind, patient, and full of valuable city information. She ensured comfort and adjusted reservations promptly. Clean rooms, good bathroom stock, and quiet guests made the stay pleasant. the European shared-space setup added a unique touch. A great pick for a peaceful trip.
Unexpected B&B setup; booked expecting hotel.

The host was super welcoming and helpful during our xmas stay, providing clean linens and extra blankets. Located in a prime spot with convenient parking, which was a great plus. Carina went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and share valuable city insights, even adjusting our reservation when needed.
We encountered some drawbacks during our stay, like a last-minute room change to a small, uncomfortable space with a broken bed. the fire alarm constantly going off was a nuisance, and the shared apartment setup with other unexpected guests was not ideal for our hotel-expecting minds.
